Oven Fried Chicken


3 to 4 pounds chicken parts
1/4 c. flour
1 t. paprika
1 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/3 c. butter
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Clean chicken and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a pie pan, combine flour, paprika, salt and pepper.
  4. Coat the chicken with the flour mixture.
  5. Put the butter in a shallow baking pan.
  6. Place in the oven to melt.
  7. When butter is melted, arrange chicken in a single layer, skin side down.
  8. Bake at 425 degrees for 30 minutes.
  9. Turn and bake for 15 minutes longer or until chicken is cooked through.
