Napa Cabbage-Ramen Noodle Salad

I have added a few ingredients not in the original recipe and eliminated others.

1 head Napa cabbage
1 bunch green onions, cleaned and chopped
1 small carrot, grated
1/4 pound bean sprouts
1 1/2 cups sugar snap peas, strings removed
cooked chicken, optional

2 pkg Ramen noodles, broken, I put in gallon bag and smash, throw away flavoring packet
1/4 cup butter

1 cup salad oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup rice vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sesame oil

  1. Clean and chop the cabbage. See the video at the end of this post.
  2. Assemble all the salad ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Melt butter and add the noodles and cook until brown.
  4. Assemble dressing.
  5. Add dressing and noodle to cabbage mix 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
