Crockpot Beef Sandwich

 1 beef rump roast or top sirloin, about 4 pounds
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 1/2 t. sugar
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. thyme
2 (10 1/2 ounces each) cans condensed beef broth
1 1/2 c. beer
2 cloves garlic, minced
16 buns
  1. Place roast in crockpot.  In a bowl, combine the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 9 to 11 hours.
  3. Slice or shred the beef and serve in warm buns.
