24 to 30 ounces of frozen hash brown potatoes, or fresh
1/2 pint whipping cream
1/2 pint half and half
American cheese, grated
Sharp cheddar cheese
salt and pepper
- Thaw potatoes, if frozen, and place in a flat 2 quart casserole.
- Salt and pepper the potatoes.
- Sprinkle generously with grated American cheese.
- Top with the cheddar and pour the creams over all.
- Bake 350 degrees about 1 1/2 hours or until brown and bubbly.
