Moscow Mule Cocktail

This was one of the first vodka-based drinks to catch on in the U.S.  Note that the recipe calls for ginger beer (no alcohol) not ginger ale.  It is served in a copper mug.

2 fl ounces vodka
1 ounce fresh lime juice
4 to 6 fl ounces ginger beer
1 lime wedge, for garnish
  1. Pour the vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer into an ice filled highball glass or copper mug.  Stir and garnish with the lime wedge.
