2 c. brown sugar
2 T. molasses
1/4 t. salt
1 1/2 c. natural bran
2 3/4 c. flour
3 t. baking powder
1 c. walnuts
1 1/2 c. raisins
2 c. buttermilk
3 t. baking soda
2 beaten eggs
- Cream butter, brown sugar and molasses.
- Combine salt, bran, flour, baking powder, walnuts and raisins.
- Combine buttermilk, baking soda and beaten eggs.
- Add bran mixture and buttermilk mixture alternately to the butter mixture.
- Fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
