1 pint sour cream
1 small 4 ½ ounce can chopped green chilies
Salt to taste
3 cups cooked rice
½ pound Monterey Jack cheese, cut in strips or grated
¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- Combine sour cream with green chilies and salt to taste.
- In a 1 ½ quart casserole layer all ingredients except Parmesan Cheese. First a layer of rice, then a layer of sour cream and chilies, then a layer of Jack cheese strips.
- Repeat until the ingredients are used up ending with rice.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and cook five minutes more.
