2 cloves garlic
1 pound hamburger
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
1 large can tomatoes
1 ½ t. salt
¼ t. pepper
½ t. oregano
8 ounces lasagna noodles
½ pound mozzarella cheese

  1. Sauté hamburger and garlic in oil and add next five ingredients.
  2. Let that simmer while you cook those noodles in the biggest pot you've got.
  3. Boil about 15 minutes and drain.
  4. Fill a big, buttered casserole with alternate layers of the noodles, meat sauce, ricotta cheese, tomato sauce and Parmesan.
  5. End with noodles and sauce and sprinkle on Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered at 375° for 20 minutes or until bubbly hot.
  7. Let stand to serve easily.
