I just started cooking with grams and I love it. It started when I bought a chunk of Irish butter at Costco. It wasn't labeled tablespoons etc. Here the conversion chart:
1 tablespoon = 14 grams =1/2 ounce
1/2 cup = 113 grams = 1 US stick = 4 ounces
1 cup = 227 grams = 2 US sticks = 8 ounces
