Bratwurst and Pasta Salad


1 c. dry elbow macaroni
10 ounces fresh broccoli
6 whole bratwursts, cooked, halved lengthwise and sliced
2 whole tomatoes, cut in wedges or bite sized pieces
4 whole green onions, sliced
1 t. dried Italian seasoning or oregano
1/2 c. Creamy Italian dressing
1 leaf lettuce, optional
Parmesan cheese
  1. Cook pasta according to directions. 
  2. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  3. Cut broccoli into 1-inch pieces.
  4. Cook in boiling water for 7 to 9 minutes or until crisp-tender.  Drain.
  5. Toss together pasta, broccoli, bratwurst, tomatoes, and green onions.
  6. Stir Italian seasoning in to the salad dressing and pour over the salad.
  7. Toss to coat.
  8. Cover and chill 4 to 24 hours.
  9. Serve over lettuce and sprinkle with Parmesan.
