Oriental Spinach Salad


  1 ¼ pounds fresh spinach, torn into pieces
½ pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
2 c. water chestnuts, drained
1 c. bean sprouts
 1 red onion, sliced
4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

Dressing:
1 c. salad oil
½ c. vinegar
¾ c. sugar
2 t. salt
1/3 c. catsup
  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a large salad bowl and set aside.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients and whirl in a blender.
