Parmesan Potatoes


baking potatoes
melted butter
2 large cloves garlic, chopped finely
grated fresh Parmesan cheese 
salt and pepper to taste
  1. Bake potatoes about 45 minutes (do not peel).
  2. Remove from oven and cut in half lengthwise, then cut each half in two, crosswise.
  3. Melt butter in a small pan with the chopped garlic.
  4. Set all skin side down in shallow pan, brush with melted butter.
  5. Return to oven until browned (45 minutes).  Add more butter as the spirit moves you.
  6. Just before done, sprinkle on Parmesan cheese and return to the oven for 5 minutes more.
  7. Eat with your fingers.  Good with summer cook out steaks, burgers etc.
