White Bean Chicken Chile

This recipe is for those days you just don't have any energy or just want something quick and easy.
I always have the canned ingredients in the pantry. 

1 T. vegetable oil
1 medium onion, small chop
2 t. garlic powder
2 t. ground cumin
2 t. oregano
2 t. ground coriander
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
2 small cans chopped green chiles(4 1/2 ounce each)
4 cans white beans (14 1/2 ounce each)
4 cans chicken broth (about 14 1/2 0unces each)
2 large cans chunk chicken (20 ounces plus) 
or 4-6 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
tortilla chips (optional)
sour cream
  1. In a large pot, saute onions in oil until tender.
  2. Add spices.
  3. Stir and add green chiles.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Stir until well blended.
  6. Bring to a boil.
  7. Reduce to low and simmer 15 minutes to 1 hour.
  8. To serve, place a few tortilla chips in individual serving bowls.  
  9. Spoon white chiles over chips.  Put a dollop of sour cream on top.
