Sour Cream Apple Pie


2 T. Flour
1/8 t. salt
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour cream
1 t. vanilla
1/4 t. nutmeg
3 cd. apples, diced
1 9" pie crust, unbaked
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/4 c. butter
  1. Sift together flour, salt and sugar.
  2. Add egg, sour cream. vanilla and nutmeg.
  3. Beat to a thick, smooth batter.
  4. Stir in apples.
  5. Pour into pie shell and bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to 350° and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Mix sugar, cinnamon and butter.
  8. Remove pie and top with sugar mixture.
  9. Return to 400° oven for 10 minutes
