Heirloom Tomato and Bread Salad


I had this salad at a restaurant a few days ago and loved it.  It’s better than a traditional buffalo-mozzarella salad because it’s all bite size and the bread is crunchy.  Click here to read about Heirloom Tomatoes.

Fresh Mozzarella, cut in bite sized pieces
Heirloom tomatoes (try to get a good color mix), cut in bite size pieces
Rustic peasant bread, toasted in hand torn bite size chunks
Fresh basil, chiffonade
Vinaigrette made with Balsamic vinegar
  1. Assemble all ingredients just before serving.
