Garlic Butter Basting Recipe

This recipe has been in the family so long it's not written down.  We all just know how to put it together.
We use it mainly for grilling chicken breasts but it would work for vegetables or anything you wish.
4 T. butter
1/3 cup olive oil 
1 T. oregano, or less
2 large cloves minced garlic
3 T. fresh lemon juice
  1. Melt all the ingredients in a small sauce pan.  Cook just a few minutes or until the butter is melted and the garlic is slightly cooked.
  2. Use to baste the chicken breast about half way through cooking.  Be prepared for flare ups.
