Every so often I make breakfast for dinner. I cook bacon or sausage as a side and make this quiche. This recipe is easy and comes out of the oven all puffy and golden. The recipe calls for a pie shell but I omit this to save calories. Just spray a casserole with Pam, place the mixed ingredients in the casserole and bake.
1 1/4 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
1 1/4 tablespoons chopped parsley
3/4 cup milk
6 eggs
2 cups grated cheese
diced ham
1 partially baked 9 inch pie shell, optional
1/2 cup grated Parmesan for the top of Quiche
- Mix the first 7 ingredients together.
- Beat the milk and eggs in a medium bowl.
- Add the dry mixture to the egg mixture and whisk together.
- Add the cheese and ham and mix.
- Pour into the pie shell or casserole.
- Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
