Dill Pickles, Cream Cheese and Ham Appetizer


This is a great appetizer.  It's very light and tasty.  I love small bits that you can just pop in your mouth.

1 T. parsley
1 t. sweet basil
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 8-ounce package of boiled ham, thin sliced
1 22-ounce jar whole dill pickles
  1. Blend parsley and basil with cream cheese.
  2. Blot ham dry.
  3. Spread a thin layer (1/8") of cream cheese on each ham slice.
  4. Place each dill pickle lengthwise along one side of ham.
  5. Roll up pickle in ham slice.
  6. Refrigerate.
  7. Before serving, slice (1/4" to 1/2 ") ham/pickle crosswise.
  8. Arrange on a platter and serve.
